Translated from Portuguese as The Whistling Cork Oak, it refers to the tree’s lively soundscape, created by the many birds nesting in and around it. Every nine years, the tree produces cork, a renewable material widely used in Portugal. Beyond its ecological value and biodiversity, the Sobreiro holds deep cultural significance. It stands as an example of a harmonious relationship between human use of natural resources and the responsible preservation of ecosystems.</image:caption>

About how you come to know someone through shared spaces, trust, smiles and vulnerability. It reflects the peace of belonging and the freedom to truly be yourself.</image:caption>
